Web Assistant
– Ref: MTWA
GFI is looking for a bright, dynamic candidate to join its Marketing Department as Web Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation of web pages, converting existing material into HTML format and performing day-to-day website maintenance, including working with our new content management system. Training will be provided. To qualify, you must be fluent in HTML at tag level and you should have experience in website design, development and/or maintenance. While not essential, preference will be given to applicants who have experience with CSS and JavaScript and experience in any of the following will be considered an asset: JSP, Microsoft SQL Server, XML/XSLT, ASP.NET, ASP and Flash. This is available either as full-time employment or as a freelance post.
Sales Order Processing Clerk – Ref: MTSOPC
A Sales Order Processing Clerk is required to join GFI's dynamic Sales Order Processing team, with responsibility for daily order processing and other general administration duties. Among other duties, this post involves dealing with German-speaking customers via email and over the phone. To qualify, you should therefore be fluent in both written and spoken German and English. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Office and should be efficient, precise and able to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. This is a full-time post.
Windows C++ and C# programmer
– Ref: MTWP
As part of GFI’s team of programmers, you will work with the latest tools and develop software for Microsoft server applications – including IIS, Windows 2003 and Exchange Server. Your work will involve developing cutting edge technologies, such as content filtering, anti-spam, email security, intrusion detection and more. Experience in C++ programming OR C# and .NET is a must. You must be able to work on projects independently. Knowledge of web development will be considered an asset. This is a full-time post.
Human Resources Manager – Ref: MTHRM
In the role of Human Resources Manager, you will head GFI’s HR & Admin Department in Malta, with responsibility for managing HR structures and procedures in line with GFI’s business needs. As business partner to the other members of the Malta management team, you will drive the recruitment process across all departments, facilitate employee communications, manage employee relations and handle compensation, benefits and data administration. You will also oversee company-wide performance management and training needs analysis/delivery. To qualify for this challenging full-time role, you should have extensive experience in HR, of which at least three years are at a managerial level. HR responsibilities at a European level, particularly the UK, and/or high tech/US company experience will be considered an asset. You must be reliable, organized and efficient with a sense of initiative and proven people management skills. You should also be a skilled communicator, preferably with experience in delivering training. You must be confident with Microsoft Office, Internet use and email, and would ideally possess a relevant degree.
Marketing Campaign Coordinator – Ref: MTMCC
As a member of the Marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of global campaigns to increase awareness, generate leads and educate our customers and partners. You will target current and potential GFI customers as well as our large reseller base, using a variety of mediums such as email, postal, webcasts and more. You will be responsible for sourcing and creating content, coordinating mail-outs, running events (webcasts etc), planning landing pages and coordinating with all related parties. This full-time role also involves analyzing and reporting on costs/results and constantly looking for ways to improve response rates and performance. You will work closely with the rest of the Marketing team as well as the Sales and Technical teams. You must possess an excellent standard of English, coupled with highly effective organizational and communication skills. You should have a minimum of three years’ experience in a coordination role, preferably within a marketing team. An in-depth understanding of the industry in which GFI operates is not a must; however, you would be expected to become conversant in the subject.

Forming part of GFI’s Online Marketing Team, you will conduct keyword research, website research, link building and other related activities. You will develop, execute and report on several online marketing campaigns that drive traffic growth and promote GFI as a leading security and messaging software provider in its field. You will also be involved in different online link building and social marketing projects. An affinity with the IT industry is required. Excellent written and verbal skills in English are a requirement of this position. Highly effective organizational, communication and computer skills are essential. Understanding of Windows networking, security and related fields will be considered an asset. While on-the-job training will be provided, knowledge of online marketing practices in general is a must. An in-depth understanding of the industry in which GFI operates is not required, however, you would be expected to become conversant in the subject. This is a full-time post.
Online Advertising Specialist – Ref: MTOAS
Forming part of GFI’s Online Marketing Team, you will conduct, optimize and manage several online advertising campaigns, which drive qualified downloads and promote GFI as a leading security and messaging software provider in its field. You will be responsible for developing and launching new campaigns, as well as improving the performance of existing campaigns. You will ensure that online advertising campaigns are implemented in an accurate and timely manner, and you will also report on the performance of every campaign. An affinity with the IT industry is required. Excellent written and verbal skills in English are a requirement of this position. While on-the-job training will be provided, knowledge of online marketing practices in general is a must. An in-depth understanding of the industry in which GFI operates is not required, however, you would be expected to become conversant in the subject. This is a full-time post.
Pay Per Click Campaign Specialist – Ref: MTPPC
Forming part of GFI’s Online Marketing Team, you will manage and optimize GFI’s pay per click campaigns, in an effort to drive qualified downloads. You will be responsible for monitoring, reporting on and improving the performance of GFI’s pay per click campaigns running on Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing. You may be involved in other online marketing tasks including online banner advertising, link building projects, viral campaigns and social marketing projects. Excellent written and verbal skills in English are a requirement of this position. While on-the-job training will be provided, knowledge of online marketing practices in general is a must. An in-depth understanding of the industry in which GFI operates is not required, however, you would be expected to become conversant in the subject. This is a full-time post.
Technical Support Representative – Ref: MTTSR
You shall form part of GFI’s technical support team, assisting customers worldwide with any issues they may have with our products. You must enjoy helping people, and should be switched on and quick to learn new technologies. You will work with cutting edge technologies such as Windows 2000/2003/2008, mail servers, database engines, network security and firewalls, while offering high end technical support by phone and email. An MCP, experience in systems administration, and/or working experience in a Microsoft Windows Server System product environment will be considered assets. As the post involves communicating with people from all over the world, you should be fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of an additional foreign language will be considered an asset. This is a full-time post.
Technical Communicator – Ref: MTTC
As part of GFI’s Technical Communications team, you will work closely with the Product Engineering teams to identify product usability issues as well as create technically detailed documentation which will help GFI product users achieve excellent performance in the shortest timeframe possible. You will also play an active role in the ongoing maintenance of product documentation by liaising with subject matter experts to further flesh out documentation requirements. As Technical Communicator, you must actively run software usability testing and communicate with end-users to identify customer experience issues. Based on this feedback, you will be able to measure and report on our products’ ‘ease of use’ factor. To qualify, you must possess an excellent command of English, a keen eye for detail and established IT documentation abilities. Educational background or work experience in any technical communications field, customer experience and UI/software development posts will be considered an asset. ‘Bonus points’ will be awarded to candidates having familiarity with IT infrastructure security, UML and best practice for technical writing. This is a full-time post.
